This House brings together musicians from the European underground scene in a project born out of the collaboration between G.W. Sok, best known as the co-founder and voice of the legendary Dutch post-punk band The Ex, and Copenhagen-based producer and musician Ignacio Córdoba. Following the 2024 album 'Is This A House', the collaboration evolved into a full band featuring drummer Søren Høi and synthesizer player Laust Moltesen. The music combines G.W. Sok's poetic texts with Córdoba's electronic universe, moving between rock, electronics and experimental soundscapes. Hypnotic rhythms, angular guitar figures, dense electronic textures and polyrhythmic drumming create an intense and ever-changing expression in which the songs constantly balance between structure and disintegration. Each musician brings a distinct voice to the project. Søren Høi's precise and adventurous drumming, Moltesen's improvisational approach to the synthesizer, and Córdoba's background in noise, jazz and electronic music merge with Sok's characteristic narrative delivery. The result is music that draws equally from the raw directness of post-punk and the unpredictability of free improvisation. On March 20, 2026, This House released its debut album 'Soft Rains Will Come', further developing the group's meeting point between literary storytelling, experimental rock and electronic textures. The Danish guitarist and composer Emil Palme is known for his innovative approach to the guitar and his distinctive musical universe. In his work, he uses stones drawn across the strings of an electric guitar like bows, creating ceremonial and dystopian soundscapes that exist in the space between composition and improvisation. In 2025, he released the solo album 'Death by Angel', a doom requiem inspired by mythological visions of the journey from life to the afterlife. Over the years, Emil Palme has become a prominent figure on the Danish experimental music scene through projects such as Portal Pets, Yngel and Baujillaud, as well as collaborations with Halvcirkel, Aarhus Sinfonietta and Manuel Göttsching.
