Singer, tenor saxophonist and harmonica player Sam Ghezzi presents a blues band under his own name, featuring musicians from Amsterdam and Copenhagen, including Fabian Vang-Lauridsen on guitar, Cesar Puente on double bass and Joe Korach on drums. The band revives the raw rock 'n' roll sound of the 1960s along with two closely related blues traditions: Chicago blues, an electric style that was played at social gatherings and on the streets of Chicago during the 1950s, and jump blues, an energetic, swinging style with clear roots in the jazz music of the 1940s.
