Herlin Riley QuartetHerlin Riley is a renowned jazz drummer, composer, and educator celebrated for blending traditional New Orleans rhythms with modern jazz. Born and raised in New Orleans, Riley began playing drums at age three and later studied music at Southern University before becoming a sought-after collaborator for legends including Ahmad Jamal, George Benson, and Harry Connick Jr.. He gained international acclaim through his longtime work with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, while also leading his own acclaimed projects, including the album New Direction. A passionate mentor and educator, Riley continues to share the rich traditions of New Orleans jazz with audiences and young musicians around the world. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
