Unloco - Bio 脺nloco is an American nu-metal/alternative metal band that emerged from Austin, Texas in the early 2000s, gaining recognition for their aggressive sound, emotionally charged lyrics, and dynamic live performances. Formed in 2000 and fronted by Joey Due帽as, the band quickly became part of the heavy music wave that blended metal, alternative rock, and post-grunge influences. Rising to prominence with their debut album Healing, which showcased their signature mix of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and raw intensity. Their growing reputation on the touring circuit led them to share stages with major acts of the era and earn spots on influential rock tours. The band became Ozzfest alumni, performing alongside many of the biggest names in metal and hard rock. They also toured as part of Music as a Weapon Tour, a high-profile tour created by the band Disturbed that featured several rising heavy acts. 脺nloco's music also reached a wide audience through film and gaming soundtracks. Their tracks were featured in the comedy film Little Nicky, the sci-fi blockbuster The Matrix, and the popular sports video game Madden NFL 2003, helping introduce the band to fans beyond the traditional rock and metal scene. Known for intense live shows and a loyal fan base, 脺nloco remains a memorable part of the early-2000s American nu-metal movement, standing alongside many of the genre's defining acts while maintaining a distinctive sound rooted in both heaviness and melody.
