Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band is an American Americana and country rock project led by songwriter Ryan Davis. For many years, Davis has been a prominent figure in Louisville's music scene, notably as the frontman of State Champion and the founder of the record label Sophomore Lounge. With the Roadhouse Band project, he fully stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist, embracing a more open, narrative-driven, and musically expansive approach. The debut album Dancing on the Edge was first released in the United States in 2023 and received widespread acclaim for its sprawling, song-centered compositions that elegantly blend classic country, folk, and roots rock.
