I Killed Andy Breitbart
Theatre

A top-rated venue.
IT IS BACK FOR 8 SHOWS ONLY! I Killed Andy Breitbart is a sharp, funny, and timely solo show about media manipulation, political spin, and the true story of how a small Chicago theater company became collateral damage in a national political battle. In 2012, just hours before his death, Andrew Breitbart, creator of Breitbart.com, wrote about the Terrapin Theatre production from 1998, The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, for which then-State Senator Barack Obama served on a post-play panel. The article became the inspiration for a tornado of conspiracy theories and vitriol from his followers, making the producer a target of various forces whose goal was to prevent the reelection of President Obama. RECOMMENDED! A cunning solo-show. Smartly crafted & funny! - The Chicago Reader AUDIENCE RESPONSES I was hanging on every word. Pam is such an engaging storyteller! The play left me feeling hopeful & entertained. Pam artfully weaved such a moving piece!
